After many years of praying for the persecuted church, we have now formalised our partnership with Open Doors (UK) and became an official mission partner in 2017.
Open Doors serves persecuted Christians and churches in 60 countries, and supply Bibles, leadership training, literacy programmes, livelihood support and advocacy services. They also seek to mobilise the church in the UK & Ireland to serve Christians living under religious persecution.
St Mark’s is committed to the prayer and financial support, and are prepared to visit the suffering brothers and sisters abroad, as well as to welcome them here.
Please join us in praying for the persecuted church every second Tuesday of the month, from 7.15-8am in the Durie Hall. We are praying for the 50 most persecuted countries in the world, listed on the World Watch List.
