Lisa went on 'mission' for six months in June 2000, and has been there ever since! She has been used by God mightily in that time. Lisa recently visited us with an update on what she is doing.

Having spent time in Hong Kong first as a volunteer for Crossroads International who distribute humanitarian aid globally and then later as a teacher, she is back in her native Cape Town, once again working in prison ministry. Lisa is passionate about helping young men who are in prison to turn their lives around. She recently sat through long sessions of Parliament, campaigning on behalf of the young men as new legislation was debated.

She recently completed her MA in Restorative Justice and has helped set up a small Trust/NGO called “RESTORE: justice, healing, hope”, as a vehicle to administer and support restorative projects in and around Cape Town.
