Global Mission

We have the privilege of supporting a number of mission partnerships, based in the UK and abroad.

Meet some of our mission partners below:

  • Paul is currently based out of Bangalore, India. And working with Tribals Transformation-India a Christian NGO, an interdenominational, evangelical holistic organization. With the motto of ‘Reaching the Unreached’ groups in India. Sharing the Gospel and building bridges within the communities.

He is involved in the teaching and training of grassroot level native missionaries and at the same time learning from them of their experiences in the mission fields.

Paul is also actively involved with Yeshuva Evangelical Church and is part of the Pastoral Team and leads the Youth Fellowship and the weekly Bible Study.

He is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology from South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), and is working towards his ordination.

  • Lisa went on 'mission' for six months in June 2000, and has been there ever since! She has been used by God mightily in that time. Lisa recently visited us with an update on what she is doing.

Having spent time in Hong Kong first as a volunteer for Crossroads International who distribute humanitarian aid globally and then later as a teacher, she is back in her native Cape Town, once again working in prison ministry. Lisa is passionate about helping young men who are in prison to turn their lives around. She recently sat through long sessions of Parliament, campaigning on behalf of the young men as new legislation was debated.

She recently completed her MA in Restorative Justice and has helped set up a small Trust/NGO called “RESTORE: justice, healing, hope”, as a vehicle to administer and support restorative projects in and around Cape Town.

  • *Real name not used

Sister Basma was deeply impacted by the testimony of someone from a South Asian Muslim family who discovered freedom in the gospel. She thought her burden to reach the nations would take her across the globe, but it has in fact led her to London.

“God, in His sovereignty, has brought many Muslims here to London. Some cross the sea, but we can all cross the street to meet and share the gospel with our Muslim neighbours who seek God, but have not yet found Jesus. We have a unique opportunity in London to see the gospel thrive among Muslim communities and for many to find salvation and freedom in Christ!”

Sister Basma now works in West London helping churches to reach out to people of other religions with the love of God and good news of Jesus Christ.

“In West London, there are people from many different nations who have never heard the gospel. What a privilege it is to introduce people to Jesus and invite them to follow Him. What a joy it is to come alongside churches to help them to share Jesus with the nations here on our doorstep in London!”

  • Mission Associate Webber Street Day Centre

John’s life changed when he surrendered himself to God after a 20 year battle against addiction.

His journey in search of God led him to explore many different ideologies for over 10 years, before the Holy Spirit convicted him and he gave his life to Jesus. Not long afterwards he became a ministry trainee at St Marks Battersea where he started serving as a leader at the homeless ministry church on Wednesdays. He also set up a street evangelism prayer group, he became a home-group leader, and he started leading the worship team.

"As someone who has been homeless and at rock bottom in the grips of addiction, I have experienced the loving grace of God when there seemed to be no hope. In a place where we see lots of guests at rock bottom, I pray that God uses me and my experience, strength and hope to show them that it’s possible through Jesus."

John now works as a floor co-ordinator and project worker at Webber Street – a day centre welcoming people that are homeless. His role is to help provide breakfast, tea and coffee, showers, clothes and support with any issues that they may have. John also loves to share the gospel with the guests whenever the opportunity arises, and he leads the optional weekly bible study.

"I see potential in every person that walks through the door at Webber street - they are children of God and my vision is for them all to find freedom in Jesus and be the best of themselves.”

John is single, and has a big family in London.
